Meet Opponents
First you need to start up mIRC. When it opens the setup window should appear. If it doesn't select FILE and SETUP.
When the setup window appears select the IRC SERVERS tab and select either RANDOM US UNDERNET SERVER or RANDOM EU UNDERNET SERVER (You may also select specific undernet servers on the list). Fill your details in the other fields and click CONNECT TO IRC SERVER! You should now be connected. If not, try different Undernet Servers.
The Channel Folder should open automatically. Type #chess in the field box at the top and click JOIN button or type /join #chess in the Status Window.
You will join the #chess channel! The names down the right side of the channel window are the names of the people logged on. You can talk to these people by typing a message in the box at the bottom of the channel window.
Challenge or accept someone's challenge to a game and start up IRC Chess.
